Romboo

As the saying goes, one man’s trash is another’s treasure and the perfect example of this philosophy can be found in our Romboo texture, created from offcuts of the ever-popular Bamboo that was created by Gabriele Salvatori and his father, Alfredo, back in 2000.

Cut into small, rhomboid-shaped tiles, the result is a product that contains an elegant hint of the Orient, with the clean, simple lines of Bamboo sliced on the diagonal. Placing these diamond-like pieces together creates a striking three-dimensional effect in natural stone that becomes even more dramatic with the addition of artfully-placed lighting.
