The EKERO side table by @poradafurniture – a combination of marble, steel and wood – has a great balance between Scandinavian functionalism ans Italian flair. Sturdy cylindrical marble base in white carrara or carnic grey; central pole in black matte metal and elegantly curved tray top in solid canaletta walnut with lowered surface work.

Named after ‘Oak Island’ where one of the designers, Staffan Tollgard, was born and raised. Staffan says “I have always loved the idea how one material encircles another. The idea of encasing one material with another – as islands are encircled by the sea – became the red thread for these pieces and allowed us to combine materials and forms.”
