Anima Mirror
Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu
The sensibility of clay is applied to natural stone, transforming a simple wall mirror into an object of design in which the soft curves of the frame showcase the inherent qualities of the stone in an understated, quietly confident manner. With its convex form and modern design, modern design perfectly framed by backlighting, the Anima Mirror is destined to be an eye-catching piece no matter where it is hung. That’s not to say, however, that it dominates a wall, but instead, the gentle, unconventional form of its frame simply strips the natural stone of which it is made back to its essence, quietly telling, rather than shouting, its story.
